I've been seeing far too many packages of "tofu" for sale in so-called environmentally conscious health food stores. These people are supposed to care. Especially in our part of the country, there are too few of them left in the wild. Unfortunately, we still hear old timers, in season, greeting one another with: "Git yer tofu?" Granted, it is still legal to take 3 a year. But the biggest problem is covert commercial "farms" flouting the law and supplying stores with "protein alternative". Our investigator, before he was discovered, barely caught from a considerable distance, the image below.

                 As it has been carefully processed to look and taste unidentifiable, many consumers are understandably unaware. Please post this in your local health food store or supermarket.
